Beets, olive oil, salt.......the small canals of a leave.....coffee, cooked....paint, fixed....the surprise of the colours after two days in the sun bleaching
I found it in a quiet shop in Lisbon — a simple cotton cloth, soft and raw, made from the earth. I brought it home and hung it in the window. Suddenly, the light shifted. It filtered through like breath, like memory. The room felt different. Softer. More alive.
I started gathering more elements — bamboo, delicate and tall. Glass smoothed by the sea, still holding the rhythm of the tides. A piece of cork soaked in citrus alcohol, its scent gently opening something in me.
There was no plan. Only a feeling. A deep listening.
These natural materials began to shape the space — not with noise, but with quiet presence. With texture, scent, light.
I noticed how my body responded.
How my breath slowed. How the space didn’t just hold me — it met me.
This is how I create. Not with rules, but with wonder. With attention. With care.
A space becomes something else when I let nature in.
And so do I.
